Smart Protective Coating grew out of Smart AC Systems of Hawaii. Years of installing and servicing A/C units across Oahu and Kauai made one thing obvious: salt air was undoing good equipment faster than it should.
Smart Protective Coating is a sister company to Smart AC Systems of Hawaii and STI Solar Hawaii, both family-run businesses serving Oahu and Kauai. After enough visits to units that were corroding well before their time, coating became the obvious next step: a way to protect the equipment customers had already paid for, instead of just replacing it when it failed early.
We built this as its own company because the problem isn't limited to Smart AC's own clients. It's every A/C unit sitting in Hawaii's coastal air, no matter who installed it.
